1. Check whether the battery is correctly installed. Remove the battery and reinstall it.
2. Check whether the battery is exhausted. Charge or replace the battery.
3. Check whether the power switch is faulty. Replace the power switch.
4. Check whether the battery contacts are in poor contact due to dirty or damage. Clean the battery/radio contacts.
