Background
Client: Banco Popular Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands. Hurricane Maria had the greatest impact on the communications infrastructure among the major storms of the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season, causing significantly more damage to the telecommunications and other critical infrastructures in Puerto Rico and the USVI, resulting in much longer recovery times compared to Hurricane Harvey's effect on Texas, Hurricane Irma's effect on Florida, or Hurricane Nate's effects along the Gulf Coast, Customer wanted to implement a "Communication Recovery Protocol" for all its branches.
Solution
Kirisun PoC T350 two-way radios were deployed to provide Banco Popular with clear, reliable voice transmission along with individual and group call services. Advanced features such as GPS location, audio recordings, status control, and a robust dispatching platform give Banco Popular the ability to closely monitor critical communications data in Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.
Benefits
