Background 

The original communication devices of the Yunnan Provincial Prison Administration is old and nearly out-of-date.  There are many communication blind spots, and prisons cannot be uniformly interconnected. Once an emergency occurs, it is difficult to use the existing devices to respond and achieve rapid reporting, emergency response and command. These problems have seriously affected the dispatch and management. The Yunnan Provincial Prison  Administration urgently needed a safe, efficient and reliable DMR system with comprehensive command and dispatch capabilities to improve the existing command and communication capabilities and meet the actual needs of  the prison's daily communication and management and dispatch work.

Solution 

According to the current situation and needs of prisons in Yunnan Province, Kirisun presented the DS5800 IP connection dispatching system. The whole system included 31 dispatching clients, 35 TR850 repeaters, and 14,000 DP580 radios. Through the DS5800 dispatching system and IP connection system, the new DMR system and the original dPMR system realized the interconnection of voice, alarm, and message; and at the same time, it realized unified management and dispatching of dPMR and DMR terminals.
