Background 

Founded in December 2017, Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group is the largest coal chemical enterprise in Asia. The project covers a total area of about 15.4 km², with a planned total investment of  about 33 billion dollars, an annual conversion of about 29 million tons of coal, including a total of 58 sets of process workshops, mainly involving products including 15 million tons of coal, 5.6 million tons of methanol, 1.8 million tons of ethylene glycol, 1.48 million tons of olefins and various petroleum and other hazardous goods.

Challenge 

• Large coverage area and limited customer budget

• IS Radio is required and IIC explosion-proof

• Solve the problem of dead zone signal coverage

• Improve work efficiency and ensure safe operations

• Huge user capacity and limited channel resources

Solution 

In order to meet the needs of customers, we have deployed a  set of Kirisun DMR trunking solution. It includes a base station  with 16 transceivers and 1 center node switch, 1 recording  server, 1 dispatching server ,1 dispatching client computer,  600 DP810s and 13 TM840s radios. In addition, in the signal  shielding room, we also deployed 26 sets of optical fiber transceivers+indoor antennas to solve the problem of difficult signal  coverage.This solution can meet the communication needs of  factories in operation and production, realizing a variety of  voice call functions, dynamic channel allocation, high concurrent calls, emergency communication and diapatching.
